Nieuport 17, 1 IAO of Red Navy
This model represents plane of 1 IAO (1st Fighter Department) of Red Navy as it operated during Russian Civil War on North Dvina Front during 1918/1919. It is not 100% clear from the only photograph of the plane, but it looks, that it was assembled from two airplanes - fuselage is camouflaged, wings and empanage look silver doped.This kit is based on Eduard prfipack kit. I have done some detailing in cockpit. Externally there are some more detailing done - engine cowl is removed to show new engine (Vector product), oil tank is manufactured, new Vickers gun (Hauler product) is installed and some more hand made details added.
