Fokker Dr.I 545/17, Jasta 11, Lt. Hans Weiss
This Fokker Dr.I was flown by Jasta 11 Staffelfuhrer Ltn. Hans Weiss during April/May 1918. It is assumed, that he has been shot down in this machine on May 2nd by 209th Squadron's Sopwith Camel, flown by Ltn Merril Taylor for his fifth victory.
This kit is heavily modified Roden 1/32 kit, as it has a lot of shortcomings. They are (among others) engine and its cowling, upper fuselage decking, undercarriage, cockpit, elevator and struts.
