D.2041/16 - Jasta 28w - Ltn. d. R. Ernst Hess - August 1917
Sources: Speculative
Radiator: Unconfirmed, probably central
Actual photo of this plane is not known. At least to autor. But the plane has been reported to be painted green aft of the cockpit. Elevator is in typical Jasta 28w colours of yellow with black stripes.
Radiator position should be central according to the serial. But it is possible, that the wing had already been changed in the summer 1917 for unit with offset radiator. That sometimes happened (as famous plane of W. Voss, for example)
