Avia C-10 (Bf109G-10), OK-BYH (s/n 8)
This airplane was post war Czech-build of a Bf109G-10. Those airplanes were build from surplus parts found all around the Czechoslovakia after German occupation. Those planes were not much reliable and were soon replaced with less powerful Avia S-199 "Mule" This model represents the Avia C-10 (later known as Avia S-99), which was used by Czechoslovakian Police Air Forces. These police forces were responsible for air defence just after the war. This responsibility was handled to Air Force in early fifties.
The kit is almost straight from the Hasegawa 1/48 Bf109G-10. I just added the Eduard photo-etech cocpit and pre-painted Eduard straps. Few exterior details are from Eduard set too.
